Bryan, Erik, Phil, and Stephen, just got done listening to your album and it was great. Definitely one of those albums that you can listen to all the through and not have to skip a single song. I esp. love "Bad for Business", "Save Me", and "Young and Beautiful." It was great hanging out with you all and wandering around Spartanburg, SC. Love at first sight: My brief and inspirational encounter with Just Off Turner.
Bored at the ASB nerd heard convention down the road in Spartenburg, S.C., some girls and I decided to take a walk. Little did we know that walk would turn into the best night our our lives. We stumbled upon a stage obviously being set up for a concert that night so we ate some horrible dinner across the street and at 9 took our seats in the grass right in front of the stage. I'm from Frankfort, Kentucky so I almost never hear anything about great bands but I always take advantage of free concerts since music is my life. By the first infectious song I was hooked and never moved the rest of the show. I have NEVER witnessed a show where the musicians were sexy,had great stage presence, AND had so much obvious talent. I couldn't believe how perfectly tight they all were and didn't even take a break during the set. I hung on Bryan's every word, ignoring the fratastic clones dressed head to toe in the same jcrew outfit in the crowd from the college up the road. It was as if we were the only people there with the band and I kept thinking how ignorant and completely nondeserving the others were. Toward the end of the show I was practically on stage with them I was so close. Buying the cd approx. 8 mins. into the show I knew I at least wanted a signature from these guys b/c I'd never get the privlige of seeing them again since L.A. is a foreign country to a small town girl from KY. I immediately approached them, got their signatures, easily stroked their egos and sadly headed back to the hotel. I'm 22 but my school girl crush on Stephen lead me back to the bar around 1 am later that night. I couldn't believe the guys were still there and let us join them. Conversation ran as smooth and addicting as the newcastle and before we knew it the bar was closing. We found our way to papa's nook where I kept feeling like it was straight out of my fav. movie Almost Famous. I felt so lucky to even have the opportunity to be with these guys. Midway is a private girl college so I was suprised how comfortable I felt around all of them seeing as how I'm never around guys. Parting was certainly not easy for us. In fact, treating my hangover from 8-5 full of biology meetings the next day was easier honestly. My heart sill aches for more but I will forever hold onto the memories, despite if any of the guy besides phil remembers them. I can't wait to spread the word about these guys and I strongly urge everyone that is lucky enough to live in the L.A. area to go see them live and buy this cd. (currently blasting now and butchering the words, my deepest appologies, bryan). Just off Turner is a star in my book and have officially made it in my opinion but they deserve all the success they seek. There is no doubt in my mind that world tours and millions of screaming fans is in their immediate future and I'll always smile when I see them on tv and say I knew them when...

I've been listening to you guys for quite a while now. I met Bryan, Stephen and Eric in MI (already knew Phil). A few weeks ago I forgot my CD in my mom's van. When I got it back a week later, I cranked it up. Even after hearing your songs a hundred times, I got chills. I also came close to getting a speeding ticket. All of you are so damn good!!!

Just want to tell you that How Much It Hurts is a beautiful song and is being mistaken as a song by John Mayer, but I have corrected a few people. I'm learning it now, just trying to get it by ear and the second chorus is a little jumbled, but hopefully will get it soon! Thanks for the music guys.

My best buddy in the whole world died on Friday. Mommy and I are so sad we cannot stop crying. I have looked everywhere for Grover Boy, but Mommy told me he died at the Veterinarians.

We both loved you music alot. I know Mommy and I will listen to it and remember our beloved and adorable Grover Boy. He really loved to sing along to your song, "How Much It Hurts," and would sing extra loud at the part where you sing, "Speak, speak your mind. . "
Grover Boy always did and we will miss him singing with us.

Hey, JOT. I got a copy of your newest CD for Christmas, and tracks 9 and 11 have reversed titles. Meaning that track nine is labeled "Nothing Hurts Like Knowing", but plays the song "Young and Beautiful", and vice versa. Did this happen to anyone else's copy of the CD?
